We love working on projects which involve collaboration between people and organisations with different areas of expertise and on projects which involve different communities. We have been lucky enough to work on many such projects with clients including Parkinsons UK, Central Saint Martins, University College London and English National Ballet.

The Brief: This project arose from an earlier project in which Dr. Rimona Weil, worked with Anne Marr and the English National Ballet to curate a series of creative workshops to help inform medical research into how movement can effect the prognosis for those diagnosed with Parkinsons disease. The initial project was a great success and we were commissioned to Be involved in a second series of workshops looking at how people can be encouraged to talk about Parkinsons dementia involving medical specialists, artists and those recently diagnosed with the condition. We produced a range of edits including the longer film above, various socials and films to share the findings of the research with other professionals. The films have been publicly displayed at both ENB and the Wellcome Collection.
The Brief: As with most of our clients we were asked to plan a series of shoots for Trash Club that could be edited into various different deliverables and, as they are a relatively young organisation, to offer as much value as possible. Trash Club wanted a fresh, upbeat, cut-n-paste aesthetic and we incorporated media from many sources as well as filming with different cameras (including a 1980’s DV cam) for a textured feel.
Stills from a selection of the projects involving community and collaboration that we have recently worked on. Clients including Camden Council, ENB, The Alzheimer Society, British Library and MAKE.
The Brief: There was no brief for this project but the fabulous Salina Khatun reached out to us asking if we could make a short film about the social enterprise she had launched teaching reading and phonics to young children in the Somers Town area of London. We arranged a shooting schedule that gave us coverage of the workshops that Salina and the team of volunteers run. This was filmed with a very light crew as rather than set up shots for this we agreed with Salina that a documentary approach and the actuality of her workshops would be a more powerful testament to the positive social impact of the work she does.
We work on several projects a year for organisations that do not have funding and that are making a positive social change in the world. If this sounds like you please reach out to us explaining why, and how we may be able to help you.
